*Do NOT use a screwdriver to try and lock - this will strip mechanism*

1. Ensure you are using the correct size Hex Key

2. Push in crash bar and twist key 

If still unable to lock or unlock - Final Step

1. Check that the security bar is able to go across the window fully horizontal as shown in the picture

2. If the security bar cannot come down, use a piece of wood or pipe to secure the window at the bottom and follow this Final Step

Immediately contact your GM and Supervisor and inform them of what is broken

Final Step

1. Remove cover off of the  alarm - pictures to come

2. Unplug Battery

3. Replace cover to the alarm

4. Inform  GM/Supervisor of bypassed  alarm
